What is the application fee?
Applications to FAMMOUSS® Foundations are free. There is no fee to apply.
Where is the program running?
FAMMOUSS® Foundations is offered in multiple cities. The Singapore classroom runs March 15–20, 2027 (apply by January 31; register by February 20). International classroom venues for Singapore, Dubai and other cities. Limited webinar admissions may be available.
Is FAMMOUSS® available online?
We believe the classroom is the right channel for this kind of faculty–student and cohort interaction. Some Columbia Business School lectures may be delivered by webinar. Limited webinar admissions may be granted. Post-program electives from Columbia Executive Education remain a natural continuation.
Who teaches, and how large is the class?
The program was developed by Columbia Business School alumnus Roger Phillips, who leads instruction, with guest speakers from the investment community and Ivy faculty. Class size is typically limited to about 50.
Are fees refundable if I cannot attend?
Admissions are limited, so registrations are generally final. Refunds are rare. Registered students may apply to defer to a later program within six months, subject to availability.
How long is the program?
FAMMOUSS® Foundations is a 10-day, in-person certificate in two modules. Module I is a prerequisite for Module II and includes Day 0 Excel, PowerPoint, statistics and probability. Instruction typically runs 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. The Singapore classroom is March 15–20, 2027.
Is the business-case competition mandatory?
No, but we strongly urge it. The panel often includes PE/VC and angels. The winning team receives a full refund of program fees; runners-up may receive up to 50%.
How are admissions decisions notified?
We do not publish decisions on the website. Status changes — including waitlist to accepted — are sent by email.
Will applications move to fammouss.com?
Yes. fammouss.com is the dedicated admissions and payment portal. Until that portal is open for a given session, use the form on this site.
